The Success Story of KICONF 2020
The 6th edition of KICONF – the International Conference on Knowledge and Innovation in Engineering, Science and Technology – took place on the 6th-8th of March in Budapest, Hungary. It is our pleasure to report that the event was undoubtedly a success, based on the feedback we’ve received from the attendees.
The international nature of the audience – joining from such countries as Poland, Georgia, Ecuador, Japan, Kuwait, Qatar, Turkey, and others – combined with the unique experience and background of each attendee made for fascinating discussions, both in response to the presentations and during networking hours.
The scientific committee had picked out insightful and thought-provoking research to be presented at the event. Here are just a few examples of the topics covered: effect of switch probability in flower pollination algorithm on optimization of tuned mass dampers, towards a reduction in energy consumption with adaptive set point temperatures, analysis of practical applications produced from joint research projects in university-industry collaborations, and others.
Finally, every participant had a chance to explore the majestic city of Budapest on a free guided tour. We walked down intricate streets, admired the stunning architecture of the city’s churches and squares, and indulged ourselves in delicious local cuisine.
We hope to see many familiar faces at the 7th edition of KICONF as well as to welcome new participants to our network. See you in December 2020!
